About Docfast Toolkit
Docfast Toolkit is a Chrome extension developed by PT. Kausa Teknologi Indonesia that provides secure OTP (One-Time Password) encryption via QR codes and real-time access to KMK (Kurs Menteri Keuangan) exchange rates for customs and trade professionals.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
1.1 OTP and QR Code Data
The extension processes 6-digit OTP codes and converts them into QR codes for secure authentication. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
1.2 KMK Exchange Rate Access
We fetch publicly available KMK (Ministry of Finance Exchange Rate) data from official government sources to display current exchange rates. No personal data is collected during this process.
1.3 Usage Analytics
We may collect anonymous usage statistics including:
- Extension version and browser type
- Feature usage frequency (QR code generation, exchange rate queries)
- Error logs for debugging purposes
This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.
2. Data Security
Local Processing: All OTP and QR code encryption operations are performed locally within your browser. Your sensitive authentication codes never leave your device.
No Data Storage: We do not store your OTP codes, QR codes, or any personally identifiable information on our servers.
Secure Connections: All external API calls (such as fetching KMK exchange rates) are made over encrypted HTTPS connections.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We may disclose information only in the following circumstances:
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights, property, or safety
- With your explicit consent
4. Chrome Extension Permissions
The extension requires the following permissions:
Active Tab
Required to interact with the current browser tab for QR code display
Storage
Used to save user preferences and settings locally on your device
Network Access
Required to fetch KMK exchange rate data from government sources
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Uninstall the extension at any time
- Clear all locally stored data via browser settings
- Request information about data we collect
- Contact us with privacy concerns or questions
6. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Chrome Web Store extension update notes. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using Docfast Toolkit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the extension.
2. License and Use
PT. Kausa Teknologi Indonesia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Docfast Toolkit for legitimate business and personal purposes.
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
- Use the extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to circumvent any security features
- Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the extension
- Use the extension to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
3. Features and Services
3.1 QR Code OTP Encryption
The extension provides local encryption of 6-digit OTP codes into QR code format. This feature is provided "as-is" for convenience. We are not responsible for authentication failures or security breaches resulting from misuse.
3.2 KMK Exchange Rate Information
KMK exchange rates are sourced from official government publications. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the information is always current, complete, or error-free. Always verify critical exchange rate information with official sources.
⚠️ Warning: Users must independently verify all exchange rate information before using it for customs declarations or business transactions. We are not liable for any fines, penalties, or losses resulting from reliance on displayed exchange rates.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not warrant that:
- The extension will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the extension will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the extension will be corrected
- The extension will meet your specific requirements
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PT. Kausa Teknologi Indonesia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the extension
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code in the extension
- Any errors or omissions in KMK exchange rate data
- Any business decisions made based on information provided by the extension
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
PT. Kausa Teknologi Indonesia is NOT responsible for any liability, fines, penalties, sanctions, or legal consequences arising from:
- Incorrect or inaccurate OTP authentication
- Errors in customs declarations or documentation
- Outdated or incorrect KMK exchange rate information
- Non-compliance with customs regulations or import/export laws
- Regulatory violations or administrative penalties
- Any financial losses, damages, or legal actions resulting from use of this extension
Users are solely responsible for verifying all information and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the extension, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and patents, are owned by PT. Kausa Teknologi Indonesia. You may not use our branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling the extension.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
